Home Bound

So we've been back in Malaysia for the past 4 months or so and life has been pretty much hectic ever since. 3 months of holiday did not do me any good, in fact I think it has spoiled me for life. It was so difficult for me to get into the normal work routine and to go on the dreaded calls. Anyway, I have been transferred to Hospital Temenggung Seri Maharaja Tun Ibrahim (a mouthful, I know) or better known as Hospital Kulai in Johor since August 2011. It is a small district hospital with total of 8 medical officers including me. Hubby has also started his new job as a business analyst in one of the consulting companies in Damansara. Yeap, we are still at it people..he's in Selangor and I'm in Johor.  Still doing the long distance thingy but at least now we are only 40 minutes (by flight) away =) We are trying to re-arrange this somehow and waiting for KKM to transfer me to a place closer to Selangor (if not Selangor itself).
Other than the new work places and arrangements, there's another news that we both would like to share. A huge one that is. Something that will change my life and hubby's life forever insyaAllah.

Alhamdulillah, currently I have passed my first trimester and on to the second...I'm now 14 weeks to be exact. Thank God, I only experienced fatigue and slight queasiness. No nausea, vomiting or weird food cravings so far. To tell the truth, I was really concerned in the initial phase because of the nature of my job where it requires me to run around the hospital especially when I'm oncall and also the fact that I frequently travel back and forth from JB to PJ. But again, Alhamdulillah, this lil kiddo is one tough baby and still hanging in there despite the fact that I have not been resting and constantly on my feet for the first 3 months. Being an O&G Medical Officer really does not help either. I mean, yes, I know what to expect, what I should or should not do, easy access to the medications and sonogram machine, but I guess, the more you know, the more you say 'tak apa lah'. I hate to admit it but am my own worst patient. =S
Anyway, all I hope for is that this pregnancy will be a smooth sailing ride for us and that the baby is healthy and growing well inside =)
